There are 2 evenings being planned to help educate our high school age players and parents.
Boys– Nov. 5th at 7:00pm in the Sky View Rec Room for U15-18 teams
Girls –Nov. 12th at 7:00pm in the Sky View Rec Room for U15-18 teams
Information will be shared regarding college preparation, including developing a resume’, contacting coaches, guidelines to being “seen” and noticed, getting signed up with an account on Captain U, etc. Heather Cairns with USU will be in attendance the evening of Nov. 12 to talk to the girls as well.
Below are examples and guidelines that will be discussed at the meeting. Players can be assertive and start working on their resume’ and Captain U account prior to that time.
Another upcoming event is on Dec. 6-7. Iowa Western will be visiting to run a camp for HS age girls. Location will most likely be at Mt. Logan Middle School unless we can arrange for something different by then. More details will follow.
